More than 340 km of optimally signed paths await all those spending their hiking holiday in the Hochkönig area. This diverse region offers relaxed hikes to alpine huts, interesting themed hikes, as well as challenging mountain paths with via ferratas, so that the appropriate tour is available for every requirement. Many of these tours can be started directly from the Lettengut.

Start off into the mountains in the early morning; enjoy the sunrise and make your first stop in a traditional alpine lodge in which the Alpine herdsman will greet you with a cheerful "Griaß di" … this is how to experience an alpine summer on the Hochkönig! 

When going on extended hikes on the Hochkönig, you can experience the mountain scenery with particular intensity, such as when taking the challenging 74 km-long Königsweg path. Start off on foot on a journey leading over 4 stages from alpine hut to alpine hut along the Hochkönig mountain range and through the Steinernes Meer and the Dientner Grasberge mountains.
